Springfield Township Municipal Building involved comprehensive MEP engineering services in support of the renovation and expansion of an existing municipal facility serving public services, tax administration, and police operations. The project included the complete replacement and redesign of the building’s HVAC and plumbing systems, along with upgrades to the electrical and life-safety infrastructure across the renovated first floor and basement.
Mechanical and plumbing services included the design of new HVAC systems, domestic water, natural gas, sanitary, vent, and storm drainage systems. Electrical design supported new mechanical and plumbing equipment, code-mandated facility power, power distribution, fire alarm systems, and lighting requirements, with selective reuse of existing electrical infrastructure where feasible. All systems were designed to integrate with the renovated building layout and support the operational needs of multiple municipal departments.
