Philadelphia International Airport – Terminal A-East Restroom RAE8 consisted of MEP engineering services for a new public restroom constructed within the lower-level ticketing hall at Terminal A-East. The scope included the design and coordination of new mechanical ventilation, electrical power and lighting, plumbing, fire alarm, and fire protection systems to support the restroom buildout.
Engineering services address connections to existing base-building systems, including dedicated restroom exhaust, domestic water and sanitary tie-ins, electrical distribution, lighting controls, and life-safety systems. The work also includes integration of special systems such as speakers, emergency devices, and monitoring equipment, as well as coordination of below-grade utilities and slab penetrations.
