CRW – SRE Storage Hangar involved the design of a new 22,500-square-foot, single-story hangar at Yeager Airport in Charleston, West Virginia, to house snow removal equipment for runways and taxiways. The facility includes 14 vehicle storage bays, a maintenance bay, material and parts storage areas, a wash bay, and a utility room. Unitas Engineering provided complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and fire alarm engineering services for the hangar, delivering permit-ready construction documents. The design coordinated with existing on-site utilities to support all building systems while focusing exclusively on the interior hangar infrastructure.
